Privacy, made plain.

1. Who this policy is for

This policy applies to the Wondr mobile application and the Wondr website. "Wondr", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of those services.

2. Wondr does not collect your data

Wondr has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or user profile. We do not collect, sell, or build a database of your personal information.

Location information. With your permission, Wondr uses your device location to show nearby places, centre the map, and build routes. Location is used by the app on your device and is not collected by Wondr. You can turn location access off in your device settings. Some location-dependent features will not work without it.

Route and preference information. Places you add to a route, saved routes, completed trips, activity type, distance-unit preference, accent colour, and route preferences are kept on your device so the app can provide its features. They are not uploaded to Wondr.

Website information. The Wondr website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking tools. If you choose to email us, your email provider will send us the information you include in that message; we only use it to reply.

3. Apple Maps and location services

Wondr uses Apple’s MapKit and related Apple location services to search for nearby places, display maps, and calculate routes. Apple may process map and location requests to provide those services. Apple’s own terms and privacy policy apply to Apple’s processing.

4. How information stays on your device

Wondr uses local app storage to remember your routes, preferences, and trip history. This information stays on your device unless you choose to share it yourself. You can remove it at any time by deleting individual items, using Reset App in Settings, or uninstalling Wondr.

5. Sharing

Wondr does not share, sell, or disclose your app data because we do not collect it. Apple may process map and location requests to provide Apple’s mapping services, under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not currently operate a social feed or public route directory.

6. Retention and deletion

Because Wondr does not collect your app data, we do not retain route plans, preferences, or trip history on our systems. Local data remains on your device until you remove it, reset the app, or uninstall Wondr. Messages sent to us are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond.

7. Your choices

You can deny or revoke location permission, remove saved routes and history in the app, reset app data, and contact us with questions. If Wondr ever introduces accounts or cloud sync, this policy will be updated before those features process information.

8. Children’s privacy

Wondr does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you contact us about a child’s message, please let us know so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Wondr changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will provide a more prominent notice where appropriate.
